Dr. Hang Lam
Therapeutic Optometrist, Optometric Glaucoma Specialist
Dr. Lam earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico in 2016. She completed clinical externships in primary eye care at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, and gained advanced experience in specialty medicine—including post-operative surgical care, glaucoma management, corneal injuries, and retinal disease—through her training in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Lam is a dedicated member of both the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. She is passionate about providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and begins seeing infants as young as 6 months old. She is a participating doctor for the InfantSEE® program, a public health initiative that provides comprehensive, no-cost eye and vision assessments for infants between 6 and 12 months of age.
She has a strong emphasis on pediatric optometry, specialty contact lenses, glaucoma management, and dry eye treatment. Dr. Lam is committed to delivering personalized and compassionate care to help every patient achieve their best vision and eye health.

As the Optometric Office Manager, she oversees daily operations while continuing to ensure patients receive outstanding service and support. She also specializes in helping patients find eyewear that not only meets their vision needs but also reflects their personal style and lifestyle. Known for her friendly approach and attention to detail, she is dedicated to creating a personalized, welcoming experience for every patient.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Lizette enjoys spending time with her family, exploring parks throughout the Houston area, and hosting backyard barbecues with loved ones.
